Benaco Bresciano IGT "Terre Lunari"

Lombardy. Grape: Merlot 50%, Cabernet Sauvignon 40%, Cabernet Franc 10%. Vol 13%. This is an inky, concentrated blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, with a tiny element of cabernet franc, from Brescia in Northern Italy. It exhibits tertiary aromas of dried prune and plum, cherry liqueur, dried pipe tobacco, and Indian spice box. There's not much fresh berry fruit left on the bouquet, but the mouthfeel is crisp and fresh. Drink now
